Within the project “Increasing the capacities of students in research, law enforcement and academic writing related to human rights and the environment” supported by Community Development Fund, KOSID launches the call for application to support investigative journalism and students in Kosovo.
The project aims to improve students’ analytical and investigative skills concerning the implementation of environmental rights and relevant environmental laws.
This activity is part of the project that allows students from the Faculty of Law, the Department of Journalism, and the Department of Ecology to develop skills to analyze and raise awareness on issues of concern such as nature degradation, air pollution, policy-making, and guarding institutions/stakeholders. responsible for environmental degradation.
The component of the activity are:
a) Students will attend a training package on investigative journalism and the environment by a professional.
b) Upon completion of the training, students will be organized into 4 groups and will conduct their research on climate change and rule of law in Kosovo.
c) The research done by the students will be placed on platforms such as Kallxo.com, BIRN Kosova, KOSID, FIQ, and academic journals.
Distinguished students will also have the opportunity to continue with internships at KOSID.
